Why did Obama not support Pickin's wind farms in Texas? IIRC Pickin's wanted the government to build the transmission systems so he could get the power out. I have flown over West Texas a few times the last couple of years and there appear to be tens of thousands of these things and I don't recall any public support for the transmission. If Pickin's were a liberal democrat like Musk he would have gotten his money yet it was never needed in the first place.
