I would not be surprised to see them keep the whole thing and proceed to develop them on their own.
They may try to purchase all the paper work supporting the drilling CXM has already done.

If a Golden egg falls into your lap. With the kind of money at stake, it's hardball. It may be the most profitable thing to do now they are in possession.
But until there is a news release outlining what has or is taking place in regards to exactly how the forfeiture came about including the status of any negotiations which may be taking place between CXM and the two partners. Anything said or written by people not party to inside information is nothing more than speculation. It could even be some kind of deal to offload the properties for all we really know at this time.

We are guessing at any of the circumstances surrounding what has actually taken place. Other than the claims are registered to different owners as per Govt. Docs.
However if it was simple one would think there would have already been a release covering it in general.
