Hannity pries details out of Trump: He believes in policy and being smart. So there.

Man, am I glad I didn't waste any time watching that.

Specifics at Last: Trump Says He Believes in Policy and Being Smart

You had to know if anyone could extract specifics from Donald Trump, it would be a tough, intelligent journalist like Sean Hannity. It happened last night during Hannity’s 42nd interview with his Cheeto-faced heartthrob since the Donald announced his candidacy last June:

Fox News

? ?@FoxNews
. @realDonaldTrump: “I believe strongly in policy. I believe strongly in being smart." #Hannity

There you have it. Trump will bring us policy and being smart. What more do you need to know? It goes without saying that Trump will “get things done.” In case you were lucky enough to miss this latest lovefest, Caleb Howe offers a synopsis:

“You’re gonna have policies though right?”
“Oh, totally.”
“Sweet, sweet. Like, your own?”
“Word. I’m going to be an awesome policy.”
“But bro, do you NATO?”
“Nah.”
“Policy though.”
“Yes. Plus also smartness.”

This is paraphrase, not parody. As Howe correctly observes, the Trump–Hannity combo is beyond parody.

I've enjoyed the Hannity show for many years. But I cannot stand this Trump lovefest thing he's been doing for six months now. He feeds Trump softball questions, then when Trump flubs them he completes the answer for him and feeds the next. It's embarrassing. I think when the Trump ship finally submerges, Hannity is going down with it. Just like Christie, Palin, and the others.

Yeah, isnt it amazing how everything Hannity asks of Trump is prefaced with the answer?

Sean basically treats him like a mentally-challenged child, holding his hand, walking him thru the entire thing.

Now this would be sweet if he was trying to get Trump prepared to be able to just go outside in the real world to play on the swings or something, but Trump is trying to become President of the most powerful Country on earth!
