Prosecutor: Trump personally called and spoke with several people in our office, told his story and urged us "to do the right thing."

Threats - to fund opponents in the next election. Promises - to fund the current prosecutor. In retrospect, no one should have expected Trump's best boy to be indicted.

Battery (minor, maybe but it was still battery) took place but the prosecutor elected to use prosecutorial discretion.

Donald brags he could shoot someone on the street and his followers wouldn't care. It's obviously true, but also likely true he could do and not get indicted in the right jurisdiction.
