No way can I comprehensively detail real liberalism in an SI post.

Pollution is an assault on legitimate property rights. While there are never perfect solutions, the best approach would probably have been an evolution of torts under common law.

Incidentally, industrial pollution was a necessary price involved in lifting the common weal. We're now wealthy enough to deal with it in whole or in part because of the activities commonly known as capitalism.

Still too big a subject for your limited capacities, so you can continue to squeeze your eyes, stomp your feet, squeal and duck and weave and bob and evade.
