You criticize FDR for not staying out while you also criticize him for not doing something earlier... Yes, incompetence is not limited to just one incident or failure to act effectively, even in an non Aristotelian logic universe. If he'd succeeded at stopping Hitler earlier, the chances that WWII would have occurred would have been much lower. He had many years to see what Hitler was about and failed. Or don't you think he had a decent factual education in history or serious human faults? Germany declared war on us, how were we to stay out? Interesting that you can't see or posit any way out, even after I mentioned one a few posts back. I wonder if that's part of the basic fixed ideology and Pollyanna nature of liberals?
