I was back at the store (to give the manager grief about his giving me bad info). As it turns out, when he said "it wasn't selling" and held up a half dozen of the games, he was referring to a CD-ROM based wrastling game (WCW vs. the World perhaps?). I should have realized his error, since WCW/NWO is a cartridge game, not CD-ROM, but then again....shrug.
While I was there, a kid came in trying to return a WCW/NWO game. He was screaming and crying hysterically, saying, quote, "IT SUCKS! IT SUCKS! I HATE THIS GAME! I'D RATHER STARE AT A BLANK WALL FOR SIX HOURS!" I couldn't believe it! His mother had to jab him with an I.V. sedative to calm him down. Bleeker, if you call the store, they'll vouch for this story :) Then post the results here, ok my man? <g> |
