I didn't say H2O doesn't have an absorption spectrum. Is that your point and how does it relate to CO2 not being a GHG?

First it shows that water absorbs throughout the IR spectrum. Second the typical concentration of water vapor in the atmosphere is at least 50X that of CO2. Both are GHG's but CO2 concentration is so insignificant that any real Chemical Engineer would ignore it when doing an MEB.
