In my experience it is not uncommon, eg shows, sporting events, to have "bathroom" breaks where the men may stand in a short line but the women line up right out the door of the restroom because there are so few stalls......I have rarely ever seen it happen in this country.....maybe a single woman or two take matters in their own hands and run interference for each other in the male restroom. Large facilities here at ball parks, for example, and in Europe at something like the Oktoberfest, the men have long troughs in their restroom that can handle crowds.... Women could use slit trenches in undignified lines. The only place I ever saw mass facilities for women was in Auschwitz (Birkenau) where there were about 200 toilet seats made of concrete in the women's barracks...
