reason to elect Donald Trump

He's right in some things, almost alone in highlighting certain cancers -- such as the fact that we accept our reps selling defense spending as a benefit, rather than a bloated overhead cost.

Still, I can think of no instance where some ham-handed lout has improved the general lot of their nation -- unless by rolling back prior governmental excesses and making material desires cheaper and more available. Trump seems intent on increasing costs, which reduces material benefits.

If someone is willing to sell me something I want for Monopoly money, I see no need for some little jerk intervening. I, and others, buy foreign stuff because we get more value for our dollar. The sane response is to lift the hobnailed boot off the necks of our producers, existing and potential, that they might compete. That would require slashing and/or abolishing any number of government agencies. I don't hear that from Trump, only Cruz.

Am I missing something? Can you help me understand his appeal?
