Yesterday, Dr. Robert Murray-Smith made a video outlining his company's plans for their graphene based battery technology, and it's much bigger than phone batteries. Apparently, he believes that his technology is so much better than existing battery tech, such as lithium ion, that it can create a distributed energy storage system at the individual house level. He must believe his tech is potentially exponentially more efficient and cheaper than the likes of Elon Musk's Powerwall. He even says it in this comment exchange:

Joshua Fausset20 hours agospot on. Elon Musk gave his PowerWall speech with the same premise for renewables and the centralized grid. The problem with his solution is it relies on redox based batteries that are not meant for cycling the way peak shaving must work.?

Robert Murray-Smith20 hours ago+Joshua Fausset did he now - lol - that i didn't know but i think the other thing he didn't think through was cost of installation - if this is going to be adopted the capital outlay has to be minimised - his batteries are just too expensive too

The other thing this video reveals, is that Edison will be floating an IPO of their own. I need to figure how that affects Sunvault, which up til now, Edison was a part of.

Hi Rob, truely exciting stuff. How does Edison fit in with Sunvault ??Reply1 Lithium2142 Lithium214211 hours agoI have the same question. I had gotten some Sunvault stock as previous videos made me believe that the EESD and the bullet proof graphene was part of SVLT. Is that not the case? Robert would you be able to clarify this??

Robert Murray-Smith Robert Murray-Smith10 hours ago+Michael Walter Edison owns and generates the IP. Sunvault has sole licence - hope this helps?

Robert Murray-Smith10 hours ago+Lithium2142 no worries mate - Edison is the main vehicle for IP generation and investigation. Sunvault owns the licence for expolitation
