Perhaps a Java processor does not have to be 100% native. However, the PSC1000 isn't even 1% native. I note that in the Sun press release, it is quoting Patriot. Sun did not actually make that statement that the PSC1000 executes Java natively. I suspect that Sun regrets that this incorrect statement got by them. As to Patriot's statements to that effect in these press release, they are not true, and refuted by material found on Patriot's own web site. Sometimes the PR people (in all companies, not just referring to Patriot) get a bit "ahead" of Engineering, and announce things that they'd like the company to engineer, rather than what they actually engineered. ;)
