Hi John, no offense toward you intended. I know what you mean too. I guess I'm fortunate to have two toddlers. They display the same type of behavior. Anything to get attention. When they act up, it's usually best to just ignore them.

Now let's talk about Intel...I was a bit suprised to read today about another cut in their PII prices. Their strategy seems to be, to get slot one as the defacto standard fast, while at the same time squeezing AMD/NSM dry of any potential profits.

I wonder if it makes sense that due to Intel shifting production to .25 microns they have realized such a tremendous increase in potential chip production, that demand is their greatest nemesis going forward. That being the case, skillful marketing will play an even more important role in the future. If I was a marketing manager at Intel, I would have a chart over every marketing rep's desk, showing the daily estimate of household PC penetration rates with a goal of 50% by the end of the century in the U.S.
