Even I was not expecting anything like this, and missed the train. :( I blame you guys for not trolling harder yesterday... AMD's 2016: AM4 14/16 nm Polaris Bristol Ridge HBM2 Sony PS4 Neo MS's console bump Vulkan/DX-12 Zen All pulled by a market that will be screaming for a cost-effective VR-ready platform, which a high-end APU would hit dead-center. If I were AMD I'd design/sell a "Steambox/console on a card": A graphics-heavy APU + 16GB-HBM2 on a PCIE card. Like a discrete GPU, but able to actually run a full (Steam)OS... Make any* PC instantly VR-capable for the price of a high-end graphics card. Buy two, handle two VR users on one PC... fpg
