Yes, the DSL Lite skuttle-butt seems to be true. I know the standards committee is looking at it seriously and I know TXN-AMTX has something up its collective sleeve. Whoever said the small guys would be eaten by the giants is probably right. I wouldn't expect Aware to last long alone, either. Though I don't have anything substantial to base that on --- just looking at the industry in general. As for the February anncs by Intel and Microsoft, I'd be tempted to add TXN to that list, too. I know they wanted a December launch for their C6X, and so maybe they'll time it to the DSL coming-out parties. Again, no one's said this --- I'm just extrapolating from what I've heard from several sources. Regards, Pat
