I've yet seen anything to convince me that this will mean accelerated losses. Intel's price cuts this time seem more of a response (or a lack thereof) to poorer than expected PII sales and the surge of sub pc's. Also - what PII's are we talking about..the watered down version meant to fool the customer? People demonstrated more and more this Xmas that they know Intel Inside does not mean the best buy

OEM's are buying K6 and with sufficient volume (the key as always) the lowered prices will be well within their margins. Also my feeling is that .25 production will be far better than .35 and the real money maker this year will be in the laptops and K6-3D. The 233's price decline are just following the (though accelerated) cycle.
Bottom line is that AMD cannot afford any major slip-ups and will be OK if their gameplan pans out.
