There is no way Cruz would ever be confirmed by the senate for the supreme court, I am not sure he could even get a majority of republicans. I disagree Joey. The democrats could not pull that tactic on a sitting senator that has been vetted. He's one of the elite 100, and it would never fly. The Republicans would trip over each other to vote for him to get rid of him from the Senate. He's as conservative as anybody could ax for, and the libs would go crazy for months.
