27.4.2016: Italian solar developer Ternienergia Spa has completed construction of an 82.5 MW solar power plant in South Africa. The plant, which was built by the company's South African unit TerniEnergia Projects PTY Ltd., is one of two large-scale solar facilities that Ternienergia is building for Italian renewable energy company Enel Green Power, a unit of the Enel group. The plant relies on 611,000 photovoltaic PV panels with a capacity between 125 W and 140W provided by an unnamed manufacturer. More details about the facility were not provided.
