Italian investors plan 1 GW solar project in Iran © photon-pictures.com 26.4.2016: Italian company Italian Genesis Co. is planning to build a 1 GW solar park in the Iranian northern province of Qazvin. Local press agency Mehr reports that the project would consist of 100 PV plants with a power of 10 MW each and that these solar facilities would be installed over a period of 10 years. The project would be financed with $1.5 billion by unspecified foreign investors.
