I'm relatively new to the board - I don't know if this was in reference to my previous post, but I just wanted to be sure I understood your thesis.

In my opinion, this is the ideal place to discuss ideas / get fresh eyes on an idea.

That being said, what about CALM? They have reasonable earnings, a nice ~3.5 % yield, low EV/EBITDA, you're buying 1/5 a share in cash... Furthermore, they might pop due to a short squeeze: SIR is around 50% - they have 35 days in average volume for the shorts to completely cover

Some downsides: Maybe the shorts are right - the insiders are selling at the present price level, and I don't get their growing retained earnings... Also, they're trading for a fairly substantial premium over book value.

Thoughts would be more than welcome!
