1) Ellen did not imply at any point in time that you were a criminal. You have a problem with pugs, take it up with him. Why would you slam her?

But she should also realize that I am terribly offended by Pugs' calling me a criminal, and I have told him so.
2) Whether you or anyone else wishes to believe Ellen is playing games and is being "dense" in not understanding how you believe pugs is using the term is not germaine. Ellen contended she believed pugs was using the term as an expression, in other words, the more popular non-literal use of the words "partner in crime". Either call her a liar or dense, but to call her what you did is ridiculous. You do understand there is an expression "partner in crime" whose use means anything but partners in crime. There is no alternate meaning for the words you claim are an "expression".

I don't see you asking Pugs to apologize to me. I've assumed you can fight your own fights, he's baiting you and you choose the approach of taking it out on Ellen, very admirable. Besides, I believe I've already stated I have no business butting in other than I am forced to based on my upbringing. A chauvinist I am in certain cases. I will nbot apologize for that.
