Saulmon-
Tranferring money from Europe to US is normally a very straight foreard operation and should not cost you more than 20 $'s in service fees unless you are baking with some small regional bank in US- the only point is exchange transaction depending on the amount I will buy $ spot selling my respective euro-currency at the spot offered rate Chemical or Citi bank have good coverage and will help you, take care not to do this transaction with your bank in US it is better to get $ proceeds in the US- I am also bullish on $ and expect that sooner you convert better is it. Buy $ and sell euro currency ask for spot bid offer rate make an offer or leave a limit order a dime higher you will get filled they will deliver $ and debit your account with respective euro currency. If you have any further querry please don't hesitate- I was enjoying my season end break and also great run of the markets.Hope this continues.
