Well yes, of course. Up until now at least, it's paid off. Those bleeding edge products have brought premium prices and their cost has been lowered, but that may not be holding much longer. It's no mystery that Intel's yields aren't what they were but I don't think the foundries are any better off. We need euv and it's not here. Who knows what's going to happen?

Indeed... Who knows what is going to happen if/when Intel can't rely on premium prices and lower costs?

I'm sure it will come as no shock to you that I personally wouldn't expect it would be good for Intel.
