I thought the OJ series was excellent, if a bit weird to watch. The trial scenes are verbatim but much about the personalities of all the lawyers that you never imagined is revealed. Sara Paulson is fantastic as Marsha Clark, and the whole cast is great. I too watched Vinyl and Saul. Saul was great, and Vinyl was mesmerizing but not what I thought it was going to be.
Speaking of Sara Paulson, in season 4 of American Horror Story: Freakshow, you get double the Sara Paulson in a most fun way. I don't think anyone else has ever mentioned AHS here, but it's the most wonderfully campy show on any TV I've seen. Season 1 (House) was a great haunted house story, and Season 2 (Asylum) was some of the wildest TV I've ever seen. Great Acting throughout by Jessica Lange (replaced after season 4 by Lady Gaga), with recurring spots by Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, the aforementioned Sara Paulson, Francis Conroy (the mom in 6' Under and a beautiful Angel of Death in Asylum), Chloe Sevigny, and other recognizable actors. Not for the faint of heart. |
