Don't have time to look up the stock symbols I don't know here, but I do recognize ERTS. I believe Electronic Arts is poised to do better than expected, and they have had a killer 1997. Scanning the game makers for the best buy (I was reading the favorable Barron's article on the game makers) is tough though. I suspect that the smaller companies will do what smaller game companies have always done, either be extremely volatile or go out of business. Electronic Arts is extremely impressive in spite of a pretty high multiple (by current bear market standards). Not a screaming buy unless you have a crystal ball, but my crystal ball says DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF MADDEN (anyone who has played Madden NFL 97 will know what I'm saying).

After asking a couple of people from abroad I would also say do not underestimate the power of the ROAD TO THE WORLD CUP FIFA Soccer game.
