G1 magnetic storm in progress. These geomagnetic storms shift the ridge of high pressure westward off the west coast of the U.S. This opens the door for many lows (and there are many) to make landfall into northern California. Lots of rain for west coast, northern Rockies, midwest, and east coast. As I said months ago, drought is being eradicated across the U.S. This is wonderful.

The only hot place will be occasional heat waves in desert SW & Texas. These lows will move across Rockies into Nebraska-region. Then they'll get picked-up by occasional, passing cold fronts for the east coast.

We could say the California drought is so bad, Lake Shasta reservoir may spill over the edges, soon. Of course, Californians will complain for more rain that continues to comes in steadily and not cause widespread flooding.
