Very good interview in "Upside" back then (Spring 91/92?). Very telling of SGI's future. JC's rift: SGI was sandbagging their technology BIG TIME. He was convinced SGI could, and should, put Reality Engine class graphics in a $5K box, in short order, to stay competitive. Why couldn't he convince the board? Not my place to speculate that one. I bet they wish he did now tho. >>INGR has been coming on for a long time. When will it arrive? Are you invested in INGR? Good Luck if you are.<< You're 100% right. INGR reeks! And yes, I once owned that pig -BRIEFLY- :( 25% haircut. That was two years ago. Terrible fundamentals. Should have known better. Got sucked-in by their product story. Very nice 3D boxes and NT servers I might add. However, everything else about INGR leaves much to be desired. Hey! Just like another 3D outfit I know!! Still waiting, Mathon
