The 13f filings deadline for the first quarter ending March 31 is Monday, May 16, or two weeks from today. The bad Fis news was on Monday, March 28. As MI taught me, the settlement date for a Monday trade would be Thursday...and in this case March 31. So if there was any selling by Sarissa on the bad news day it would be reflected in their 13f filing for the first quarter. I think. That leaves out the fairly large volume trades since March 28 and particularly recently as you point out.

Institutional selling would be a good question for Pascoe, off mic and by our man Eman. I would think Pascoe would know or have a sense of institutional selling as we know he talked to somebody at Sarissa before issuing the April 6 corporate update.

I don't have a gut feeling on this but I would bet that they have not been selling. Why sell at four bits when an FDA approval combined with a chunk of money from Allergan or a deal with another "pharma in the wings" could cause a spike in price with volume in a year or so?

I must admit that I was surprised at today's selling. Sooner or later we will get capitulation associated with Fis selling. I was hoping we were there. Enough already!
