Highly speculative to say the least, and not supported by the evidence. You are essentially surmising that China is blocking the deal so that they can buy cheap before they approve the deal. If there were any significant question on whether this deal would close, SanDisk would not be trading at a negligible discount to the value of a closed deal. The arbitrageurs are certainly supporting the price of SanDisk with near 100% certainty that the deal will close in the very near future.
