". . . China is blocking the deal so that they can buy cheap before they approve the deal." Well, why not? Isn't it a form of retaliation not altogether different from Chinese actions over the last 15 to 20 years? You say it is not supported by evidence. The evidence, quite plain, is that Chinese regulators have not approved the merger yet. And they've been sitting on the approval ever since Chinese investors withdrew their $4 billion offer to WDC. Hmmmm. No connection?
