I recognize the argument but .... I also know people with records can get jobs. How hard it is depends on what crimes were involved and how long ago. I just gave it some thought and thought of four people I know of or have known of with criminal records who are employed or were at one time. I can think of an individual who has done time in state jail & has a drug charge, burglary charge, and a weapon charge and he was accepted as a Uber driver. I know of another hired at a Walmart tire service shop years back (ok, that guy makes five). I know of several others who've been locked up for a year or so at a time and they are now employed. I know of a couple business owners who hire people with records with the requirement they attend church every Sunday.
