(NEWSER) – Bernie Sanders has notched another victory against Hillary Clinton. CNN and other networks called Indiana for him about two hours after all the polls closed at 7 Eastern. He was leading by about 6 points in incomplete returns. The state has 83 delegates up for grabs, and Sanders had been hoping for an upset to strengthen his case for a contested convention, notes Politico. (The big political news of the night, however, came on the GOP side as Ted Cruz dropped out.)

Earlier Tuesday, Clinton was already looking well beyond Indiana. "You know, I'm really focused on moving into the general election," she told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell. "And I think that's where we have to be, because we're going to have a tough campaign against a candidate who will literally say or do anything. And we're going to take him on at every turn."
