Koan- the poor don't give money to political candidates. They're pretty much worthless as a coalition. You can talk all you want about this dreamy idea of yours that this mystical group, the "new left," are going to do all these things- but I just don't see it. America is a diverse nation, and most of the people are not the "new" left, and they don't give a crap about the poor, who rarely vote for their own interests (if at all). So let's inject a little realism into this. Hillary has political machinery behind her (which you don't like, but who cares?)- and she has a nice big voting base. She'll be able to play nice and work with others- something Bernie has apparently never been able to do. You don't like candidates who get along with other people- which is odd, considering that is what people in government do, and you claim to have worked in government. If you quit bitching about Hillary, and actually start working to elect a democrat, ANY democrat, you'll make it a lot less likely that we end up with nutball Trump. But hey, you do what you need to do. Let's just agree that anything is better than Trump, and quit arguing about stupid stuff- especially stupid stuff that is unrealistic. This isn't fucking Sweden and it never will be.
