It's a science experiment, just like solar-powered cars.

You can't even charge your electric car in California using 100% renewable energy.

Face it, your entire lifestyle depends on fossil fuels and will for the forseeable future. Your "carbon footprint" is still 100x that of someone living in a poorer country, and that's by your own choice.
