Hail reported around Orlando, Florida, area ~6:30 am on morning of May 4, 2016.

Hail in May in central Florida from a synoptic storm in the early morning hours is the exact opposite of global warming.

100% of climate models warm the upper atmosphere at a faster rate than the surface, which decrease the lapse rate of the atmosphere. This weakens convection. At 6:30 am, the hail is NOT from daytime heating, and thus from a synoptic system, which is fueled by the jet stream. Hail forms from a cold upper atmosphere and strong convection, again, the opposite of what is predicted by climate models.
