Before the climate scam went into full gear, reports from the federal government used to just present data without an agenda. That's obviously changed. Below is a screen-shot from: nifc.gov

Wow, 10-fold decrease in fires from the preindustrial period when CO2 was < 300-ppm. You don't see the presentation of data anymore, for data are now cherry-picked to conform to an agenda.
As a result, you get this bullshit from Scientific American. scientificamerican.com

No one mentions the Pacific Decadal Oscillation, which correlates nearly perfectly with fires along the Pacific west coast. Well, this winter was the expected global temperature spike with El Nino, and look how drought is ravaging the U.S., since I am told that high CO2 causes droughts and fires in the U.S..

According to Scientific American, drought conditions were better in the U.S. in the 1970's before global warming accelerated, and the climate was cooler and more moist.

When the Earth was much colder in the 1930's, there was no drought, since the Earth was dripping with moisture.

By the time July 1934 rolled around, moisture was everywhere and farmers were happy. Times were great when CO2 was much lower.
