I made the miserable mistake of leaving my computer for a few days of relaxation in sunny Southern California...and happen to be traveling on the weekend. After 5 min. of hearing the Fools, I tried changing stations to perhaps find some wisdom. But I found my curiosity kept getting the best of me. I suffered through the "Rain Forest" recommendation.. and then thru, "buy what you know, there is no magic in picking stocks, just go with a name you know"..ugh.

But then came the real clincher: "We don't know anybody who can tell you where the market is going in the short run or in the next year. If we did, I sure would like to meet him". That wording may not be exact, but I almost pulled my radio out of the dash.

"Brother Fools, meet Mr. Bob Brinker. He uses a very effective market timing model that allows him to predict with a unusually high degree of accuracy where the market is going in the short term, and a pretty good glimpse of where it is going in the next 6 months."

I am quite certain that the Fools (whose real names must be Wally and Beaver Cleaver) have never listened to BB. Hello Fools...anybody ever heard of diversity, and market conditions? How about valuation, P/E, buy signals and sell signals?

Please Bob, don't abandon the starship Money Talk to the Fools. Are we to be stranded with "You pays your money, you take your chances" Flannigan; "rolling stocks" Wade Cooke; or "Just buy anything" Fools?

Pack up the golf clubs..I guess I'll have to learn to golf and take notes at the same time!

Greg
