Trump isn't a conservative. Trump is a nationalist, Trump is not Hitler, but Hitler was a nationalist who rose to power by appealing to German nationalists after WWI. Trump is doing the same thing here, appealing to the white men who've lost out in the new multicultural global economy, using all the nationalist tropes. Hitler blamed the Jews, Trump is blaming Mexicans and Muslims. It sells now just like it did then.
