Following a management shakeup, the service’s new look is being overseen by content head Robert Kondrk and Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor. Design chief Jony Ive's team also has provided input, along with Iovine and Eddy Cue, the senior vice president in charge of Internet services.
Jony Ive's team has provided input? Sorry to hear that. I can only hope his team's ideas were soundly beaten down by the other members of the group. The last thing Apple Music needs is to borrow UI designs from the latest versions of OS X, with its greyscale interface and other very poor design choices.

The new look of Apple Music will be an excellent indicator of whether Apple is getting a clue about good UI design choices or they're simply continuing to flush their reputation down the crapper.

Given the number of chefs with their hands in the soup, I have my doubts.
