Western forest products. Has been good to me. Brought out of bankruptcy in 09 to one of the most stable & profitable forest companies when looking at EPS, ROA, RG and a Pr. to Sales ratio of only .74 which suggests they have returning loyal customers.

Pays a Q div of 2 cents per share.(*cents per year)
Has modernized it's mills and will soon be debt free. Has ample costal timber supply of their own which is not subject to the mountain pine Beetle like the interior of BC. Plus a multitude of supply available on the local open market.

Being that it ranks as a smaller operator in the sector yet is very profitable with excellent management, it could be a takeover target for larger firms who have their sights set on growth. As long as the housing market continues to flourish.
I see some upside as the first Q report released on Friday may 5th was another in a series of analysts expectations being met. It has been trading sideways since 2014 but I have made good money between trading the swings and being in for the dividend each Q.

I have been a long time trader in WEF. First bought at 20 cents and sold at $1.14 and forgot it. Thanks to Spec who brought it back to my attention at $1.29 I have been trading the swings ever since.
In my opinion, considering it's growth and the present Debt/Equity ratio it is almost a small cap blue chip.

Do your own research, make your own decisions. What works for me may not for others. Everyone has their own criteria.

Cheers
