There are two major problems with that claim.

First, it overlooks the email scandal, which is likely to get worse long before it gets any better. This scandal isn't your run-of-the-mill corruption scandal. It was beyond stupid. And she clearly, on repeated occasions, put her own [perceived] interests ahead of the nation's. That's a problem.

Secondly, we do not know where Trump is at this point. He has been running for only months, and has no previous political history. The reality is that he hasn't had years to think about and formulate long-held positions. One could argue that is a disadvantage, but on the contrary, it looks to me to a good characteristic as long as he is able to formulate sensible positions in the coming months.

I don't care how he felt about any issue 10 years ago; I just don't think it matters. What does matter is where he stands now. And while I disagree with a LOT of his positions, I think he is a competent manager. Had he not been, I do not think he could have been successful in his real estate business.
