Headline: Glenayre (NASDAQ:GEMS) says class-action lawsuit refiled ====================================================================== CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec 30 (Reuters) - Glenayre Technologies Inc said Tuesday that a class-action lawsuit that was dismissed in early November has been refiled against the company. The lawsuit was refiled on December 19 against it and some of its officers and directors in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Glenayre said. "As we have stated since the complaint was initially filed in November 1996, we believe that their claims are totally without merit," President and Chief Executive Gary Smith said in a statement. "We will continue opposing this lawsuit and hope that the refiled complaint is quickly dismissed." The exact nature of the lawsuit was not immediately available.
