A person at a major Taiwanese supplier for Apple said iPhone 7's lack of innovation is to be blamed for the weak demand. How on earth can they talk about "weak demand" for a product nobody can yet purchase, and for which potential customers don't have a clue what the features will be? I think they are confusing slowing smartphone sales in general with the iP7, which might in fact prove correct, but its certainly not the case that we know anything about what the demand will actually be for it.
