It was NOT a stable situation...

Sunnis controlled Iraq for a Very long time and then we forced the Sunnis out of power and put the Shiites in power.

The new leader of the Shiites, Maliki, treated the Sunnis like they were second class citizens. If you don't believe me, there's a LOT of evidence of it.

A lot of those Sunnis had been in the military and weren't happy about the whole situation.

Those were the Sunnis that joined Al Queada and eventually FORMED ISIS.

ISIS wasn't just something that happened spontaneously. It happened because of our invasion of Iraq and it was well on its way before Obama ever got elected.

I don't know how you can let your political affiliation BLIND you to these FACTS.
