No, I am looking for computational muscle.

OK, I understand. A long time ago I wrote code for Cyber computers and those with an Intel 8080 chip.
I found those with the 8080 chip were not adequate replacements for the Cyber :-)

I have searched (but to no avail) on a "next release date' for the Mac Pro. There is a camp that says that
what you have is going to be it. That makes some sense to me because the number of customers is small
and Apple signaled the future when they took the "Computer" out of "Apple Computer Inc".

Here is a story from April 18 that says "Nowhere is the pain felt as severely as with the Mac Pro line, which
hasn’t seen a spec update for 851 days as of this writing. That’s nearly two and a half years. Wowzers!"

And, another story outlining some of the Mac Pro alternatives out there: digitalartsonline.co.uk

The only thing I can suggest is you get ahold of someone from the company to talk to.
