Wrong, slotman. Principal Securities in part of the Principal Finanacial Group whose home office is in Des Moines Ia. Also part of the Group is Principal Mutual Life (formerly Banker's Life, but not to be confused with a ton of companies that have Banker's in there name. It was easilier to change the name to 'Principal' than be associated psychologically with the other companies using 'Bankers'). The Principal is one of Iowa's largest employers with numerous pension offices in major cities across the state. Principal Mutual is in the top 10 of the countries largest companies in terms of policies in force and assets under management.
