Man it is COLD here. Temperatures are a full 20 degrees below normal. That settles it for me. We are entering a new ice age. More evidence is the expanding Canadian Geese population in the US mid west. The geese have moved South out of Canada seeking warmer Spring temperatures to raise their young.
Planting season in the US Mid West has been delayed due to excessive rain, low temperatures and frost. Food in the twenty first century will become a real issue.
My advice is that you take appropriate steps if you expect to survive. Prepare your children and grand children for the new reality.
The Southwest will become highly populated so maybe some land that is cheap now will become a great investment in the future. Perhaps relocating the family in Mexico soon would be a good idea. Mexico will be ruthless in closing their border to gringos trying to escape the frozen North later on.

Climate scientist expect the freeze to last 50-60 years at least and then the Earth will begin to warm.
This is not new. Climate scientist have been predicting this for years. Science deniers have rejected it however choosing rather to worship at the warming alter with its false science, myths and superstitions.
