Bad Capacitors

I have a several year old Seiki 39" 4K monitor that was taking 12-15 minutes to turn on. You hit the power button and it would take that long for the splash screen and blue power indicator to turn on. From googling, it said this was due to bad capacitors. Instead of testing, then replacing capacitors, which involved soldering, I ordered a new power supply board. It was $30. It now turns on in a couple seconds, so that seems to have been the problem...
