Brake dust??

There is virtually none with the Tesla Roadster, Model S and X.

Regenerative braking pretty much takes that out of the equation.

A pretty flawed report.

About the only time the brakes are activated in the above vehicles is with a 1/2 G deceleration or greater.

Which is virtually none of the time.

The vast majority of ICE vehicles waste all of that potential energy and emit brake dust to decelerate.

Weight penalty is very, very small compared to a comparable ICE BMW or Mercedes resulting in vastly higher energy efficiencies (over 4X).
