can you give me one example of a person deciding to not join and not covered by the union contract???? The whole scheme was designed to hurt the democrats and whats left of the middle class.....maybe they get away with that chit in some rinky dink service unions but let me tell you if someone pulled that not paying dues crap here in NY in our professional well compensated labor unions they would be in for a good beating!!! Dues are a small amount and are tax deductable....I can make enough on ONE paid working holiday (triple time) to pay the entire years dues......I would gladly pay much more
